Elizad Sharifuddin Releases Debut Single

Popular Actress Elizad Sharifuddin was earlier this year crowned champion of the reality tv programme Gempak Superstar, a reality tv programme where its contestants are made of actors and actresses who also have the talent to sing. Following her win, Elizad now releases her debut single entitled Haiyaya.

On its debut, Haiyaya made it to number 3 on the iTunes top 200 tracks of the day and was also picked by the Apple Music editors as Malaysian Groundbreaking Music for the month of Oct-Nov.

The single is composed by Faizul Sany, the 2013 champion of Akademi Fantasia together with award winning producer Omar K & Ezra Kong.

Elizad, an actress since 2004, has always loved acting but quietly loved singing as well. Haiyaya in an inspirational song and is close to the story of Elizad, a girl who never gave up and has worked hard to get to where she is today.
